Artistic Car Show
What do hot rods and custom cars have to do with art? If you ask that question
of any custom car creator or hot rod builder, they would tell you that there is as
much art in building that car as there is in any art masterpiece. In fact, each
custom car takes hours of planning and then personality.

With that in mind, the 7 Valley Street Rods will be holding a small but unique
car show as part of the Cortland Arts and Wine Festival on Saturday, August 1.
The show will be limited to about 40 “artistic” cars in the parking lot on Church
St., right next to the Festival. As part of the show, viewers will be invited to vote
for their favorite and, much like the wine tent, a “People’s Choice” award will
be presented at the end of the day.

Anyone interested in showing their hot rod or custom care should contact Les
at Lwainman@twcny.rr.com or call 607-749-8016.
